Course Description
This digital course, Welcome to Teaching at UMD for TAs, will provide the basic information you'll need as you embark on your journey as a teaching assistant at University of Maryland. You’ll reflect on your new teaching identity and learn about important policies, then gather teaching and technology tips as you prepare for your first day of class.

Expectations
This digital course consists of 5 lessons, which altogether will take approximately 90 minutes to complete. Additional resources or tips for further exploration are provided at the end of each lesson. Several of these lessons have knowledge checks or assignments to confirm what you have learned and to enable you to move on to the next lesson.
