Course Description
This digital course, called Charting the Learner’s Journey, will guide you through foundational strategies to design courses that support your students’ success. You’ll explore key elements of course design, from writing meaningful learning outcomes to creating a welcoming syllabus and organizing your ELMS-Canvas site. By the end of this course, you’ll have a practical toolkit for designing courses that are clear, engaging, and aligned with your students’ learning needs.

By the end of this digital course, you will be able to:

- Write clear and measurable learning outcomes that guide student learning.
- Develop a student-centered syllabus that communicates course expectations and fosters an inclusive learning environment.

Expectations
This digital course consists of 4 lessons, which altogether should take approximately 45-60 minutes to complete. Additional resources or tips for further exploration are provided at the end of each lesson. Each lesson culminates in a knowledge check to confirm what you have learned and to enable you to move on to the next lesson.
