Course Description
This digital course called Theory to Practice: Inclusive Teaching Reflections is the culminating step towards earning your Inclusive Pedagogy Practitioner meta-credential from the TLTC’s Teaching Academy. This course will ask you to reflect on your past learning experiences and will prepare you to participate in a Reflection Circle session.
A Reflection Circle session is an essential part of your learning journey that provides a supportive space for open dialogue about your experiences, successes, and challenges in implementing inclusive pedagogy. Engaging in the session will encourage shared learning through exchanging ideas and strategies, asking questions, and seeking support from peers and facilitators. Participating will deepen your understanding, foster a collaborative learning environment, and enhance your practice of inclusive pedagogy.
Course Learning Outcomes
By the end of this digital course, you will be able to:
- Review and synthesize best practices in inclusive pedagogy.
- Apply insights from your reflections to develop questions for a Reflection Circle session.
- Engage in active dialogue with colleagues through a Reflection Circle session.

Expectations
This digital course consists of 3 lessons, which altogether will take approximately 2 hours to complete. This course culminates in an assignment and a learning outcomes assessment. A TLTC faculty coach will review your assignment submission and provide individualized feedback, typically within about 5-10 business days. Once you have received feedback, you will earn your micro-credential.
